I'm currently working for a market leading provider of industrial components company who are looking to appoint a MHE & FLT Trainer to work within their service delivery team in improving compliance and ensuring standards are maintained as per business requirements.
This will be a national role across their numerous sites with your base when not travelling at their new state of the art facility in the West Midlands. You will receive a salary of c£35,000 plus a company car and expenses…
Within the role you will be asked to provide quality learning and development support focussing on MHE training, particularly FLT drivers. Both 3-day refresher courses but also 5-day new FLT driver courses, when not training FLT's you will be asked to implement site best practice and risk assessments. The company can support future development for the right individual including potentially NEBOSH qualifications…
The MHE & FLT Trainer will be accountable auditing service performance of MHE users, compliance is upheld to the highest standards, providing analysis, and recommending remedial actions as required. You will report directly to a site GM but the role will suit a self-starter who can work autonomously and manage their diary accordingly. You will be asked to train and help staff analyse areas for improvement and take actions to ensure all company KPIs are met. My client has a policy of promoting and developing from within so there is plenty of opportunity for the right candidate to progress within the organisation. You will supervise FLT drivers on checks and maintenance, if applicable, to comply with company policies and procedures and to always ensure best practice.
Your key responsibilities as MHE & FLT Trainer will include conducting MHE training for all equipment operating across their sites, in accordance with the RTITB training guidelines (This will include FLT, PPT and Reach Trucks). You will Conduct MHE Safety Awareness courses for all who operate MHE equipment and ensure all site's compliance with MHE training. You will need to have the ability to communicate at all levels and work effectively within company structure and report your findings in a concise manner.
The successful MHE & FLT Trainer with receive a competitive basic salary of c£35,000 plus company car and expenses. Like any growing business my client can support ongoing career development, for more information please contact Phil Birch on 07970 211517.
