My client are looking to increase their maintenance department and are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who can help decrease the reactive maintenance and increase PPM across the site. As an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in either NVQ / City & Guilds
  • Have a strong knowledge and experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic and gearbox is essential
  • Being able to communicate at all levels is a must
  • Have strong problem solving skills in order to be reactive along with putting PPM schedules in place following a successful breakdown

Given the nature of the work you will need to have a flexible approach to both working environments and working hours. Throughout the year your working days will be on rota based schedule 45 hours a week. Each day will be very different which I feel is an attractive benefit for you to expand your experience and attack new challenges.

In return my client offers a starting salary of £30,000 rising to £33,000 after 6 months training on their specialist machinery. Additional benefits will include a days based role, extra family incentives and 30 days holiday.
