Material Planning & Logistics Analyst (MP&L Analyst) - £40,000 DOE - Shropshire

Can you bring an expertise within Material Planning & Logistics Analysis? I'm currently recruiting a role for a global manufacturer that supports the automotive sector, they are looking for an individual who can liaise with both customers and suppliers (both internal and external) daily.

Working closely with their Material Planning & Logistics Manager onsite, you will join a global organisation that is a market leader within their field supplying across the automotive sector. You will be responsible for delivering production plans and supplier schedules in what will be a fast-moving changeable environment. As a valued member of the MP&L team onsite you will work closely with your team to manage and effectively plan production runs, incorporating changeover times avoiding minimal delay.

This is a business-critical role as they look to deliver solutions to their customers whilst still maintaining the highest levels quality and customer services within budget requirements. You will work with your team to maximise efficiency and support new business wins are incorporated into production runs to ensure all logistical requirements are met. There will be training involved but you must have a background in MP&L, you will need to show a high level of Excel usage and be comfortable working autonomously in an environment where the production plan can change at short notice.

Having worked extensively with this company over several years, the future of the organisation is very bright and with this role offering the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career and progress further within the organisation (either at this site or globally). This is a face-to-face onsite working environment so it will need a candidate who is comfortable being office based working Monday to Friday (there is an early finish on Friday's).
