Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a large group of privately owned health care practices based in Cheltenham. We are working to recruit a Marketing Data Analyst to join the Customer Experience team and support with data that will drive the Marketing function and the business forward.

Job title: Marketing Data Analyst

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £30-40,000

Start date: May/June 2022

Contract: Perm and full time

The role:

This Marketing Data Analyst role is a new role to the business after the business has identified that to continue the amazing growth they have been seeing recently, they need to utilise data sources to drive commercial performance.

Key requirements:

  • Using data to understand the current impact the marketing and digital actions are having on consumer activity.
  • Consistently delivering an analysis of trends and opportunities
  • Produce a weekly and monthly report of data
  • Using data understand the impact of all current marketing channels to identify strategic ways to develop and build the current brand.
  • Being a specialist point of contact between Marketing and other teams to support marking and data integration
  • Translating commercial challenges into specific data
  • Be on hand to help internal stakeholders understand data and alter activity to support findings from the data
  • Identify data driven opportunities to enhance consumer activity
  • Analyse and interrogate the data to understand the marketing activity output against the customer goals
  • Provide answers and solutions to increase marketing initiatives effectiveness
  • Help marketing and the company as a whole understand the effectiveness and return on investment across marketing activity

Candidate criteria:

  • Good interest and understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Understanding of customer journey
  • Strong knowledge and ability to interpret data and advise business decisions from data
  • Knowledge of Marketing is advantageous
  • Experience producing data reports from multiple sources
  • Experience of statistical modelling
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in working to translate complex data patterns and insights to a variety of stakeholders and audiences
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive approach and a self-starter
