We're currently working with a great charity in London who have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Executive to join their team! This is a brilliant role to help raise brand awareness through implementing and delivering marketing and communications plans.

The Marketing and Communications Executive will be proactive and provide effective support to the fundraising department to assist in maximizing the charity's income. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous marketing and communications experience who is excited by a varied role and can take a hands-on approach.

The Marketing and Communications Executive:

  • Development and management of the marketing and communications strategy in line with charity objective
  • Design and manage the social media strategy - protect the brands reputation through social monitoring
  • Manage the website's CRM system - ensuring content is kept up to date
  • Produce a monthly report on marketing and communications campaign effectiveness
  • Establish relationships with all principal supporters and key stakeholders
  • Support the management team with day-to-day fundraising activities and campaigns
  • Manage external communications
  • Effectively communicate with press, industry professionals and sponsors
  • Act as a brand guardian - ensure all materials are consistent in tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity
  • Attending and playing an active role at events
  • Researching industry events with the aim of generating invites and fundraising opportunities
  • Ensure the Event team is kept up to date all communications and feedback

The Successful Candidate:

  • Outstanding analytical capability, ability to think strategically, and knowledge and competency to shape client solutions
  • Proven oral and written communications skills and demonstrated presentation skills
  • Advocate and promote the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the charity
  • Demonstrate understanding of strategic partnerships, integrated resource mobilisation, and communications
  • Superior networking capability and strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
  • Familiarity with Charity policies and procedures for partnership building, donor relations and communications
  • Excellent planning, organisational and management skills
  • Capacity to deliver tasks on time and to meat goals, including highly pressured environments
  • Effectively network with partners - seizing opportunities to build strategic alliances relevant to Charity's strategic agenda
