Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer that is used to working within a high volume and fast paced environment?
Today I have been on site to meet three Senior Managers to discuss the focus and future of the business. Together they are responsible for all of the Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality processes for the business. With 37 years service between them you can trust you'll be in good hands and will be joining a very experienced division that will only benefit your future career. The business have recently celebrated a landmark of trading and stand at £30 million turnover after a period of significant investment over the last 5 years.
Ideally the successful Manufacturing Engineer will have both a fabrication and machining background within either a Automotive or Aerospace environment. Given the nature of the work and setup of the business they are looking for an individual that can turn their hand to multiple tasks at one time while achieving the best possible outcome. You will be involved in both current and new projects so having experience with NPI and tooling design would be highly advantageous. The Manufacturing Engineer will be expected to work both internally & externally with regular visits and calls with both customers & suppliers.
The company is situated in the heart of the Midlands which makes them very desirable for customers, supplier and most importantly their workforce. Working hours consist of 8am till 5pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on a Friday. With an ever growing order book they consistently have overtime available of up to an additional 9-10 hours a week. Depending on your experience my client will be flexible on starting salary as they are aware of the market rate for salaries and want to attract the best talent.
