We are working in partnership with a Global FTSE 100 luxury brand business based in Burton-upon-Trent, in helping them find a qualified ACA from a Big 4 or Top 10 Audit firm, to join them as a Manager in Global Financial Governance (similar to Internal Audit). Reporting in to the Director of Global Financial Governance, this role will see you travel to the US, China and across Europe, so if you want to see the world as part of your job, this is the opportunity for you!
Due to having significant US presence, your role will see you heavily involved in testing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) controls across a number of different processes and functions. You'll need to travel to specific sites around the world to test controls, which will involve around 8-12 weeks travel a year (usually done in weekly and fortnight blocks). Other aspects of the role will include focus on testing IT controls, identifying controls gaps and recommending improvements, developing a suitable communication method to report and resolve process issues, and testing of group and regional entity level controls.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree is preferable
- Qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent, ideally trained in a Big 4 or top 10 Audit firm, with experience of working with large Global organisations as an Auditor
- Previous experience of SOx is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in the design and delivery of process improvements involving IT is desirable
