Do you have some management accounting experience and looking for your next step in management accounting and reporting? Are keen to move into a role that will need you to take on more responsibility

Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a multisite organisation in Birmingham who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team, with an aim of supporting a Finance Controller and producing accurate and insightful Management Information.

The role will see someone studying towards their professional finance qualifications take ownership of elements of monthly management accounts.

Management Accountant Package:

Up to £35,000

37.5 hours per week
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Management Accountant Responsibilities:

Assist in the production of the company's management accounts to agreed deadlines including Accruals/Prepayments/Journal entries
Maintain the integrity of the businesses accounting transactions and ensure anomalies / variances are resolved
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Support budget and forecast preparation
VAT returns and other statutory company returns.
Making improvements on existing processes
Monthly Reconciliations
Any other duties that may be required to support the business needs.
