We are currently working with a market leading, global manufacturing and design company. Their focus is on providing innovative designs, quality components and offering a bespoke service to clients across the globe.
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our client's streamlined, busy finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work independently and take ownership of their work. You'll need to be a self-starter who is prepared to take the lead and engage directly with stakeholders. As a Management Accountant, you'll need to have excellent analytical skills and be able to convert complex data into clear and concise reports that enable users to understand business performance and make informed decisions. You'll need to be able to communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring that you can explain what the numbers are saying in a clear and understandable way. You'll need to be a team player who is able to work collaboratively with others, and have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver work to agreed deadlines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts and reporting requirements.
- Assisting with budgets and forecasts.
- Completing weekly sales report and cash forecasts.
- Creating and posting journals with analysis detail and be able to explain variance.
- Carrying out bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Creating daily reports including sales.
- Assisting with annual audit and accounts preparation.
Attributes:
- Analytical individual with excellent system knowledge including Excel.
- Motivated, able to organise you workload and meet specified deadlines.
- A confident communicator and ability to support you team.
- Previous experience within manufacturing or similar sector.
Benefits:
- Annual salary up to £50,000 DOE
