Gleeson Recruitment Group have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a growing service based business based in Lichfield with a turnover just over 100 million.

As a management accountant, you will be reporting into the FC and will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to support the business decision-making process. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
Providing analysis and insights on financial performance and trends
Produce and present on opex and capex proposals
Management of accruals, prepayments and oversight of balance sheet reconciliations
Producing financial reports for management and external stakeholders
Working with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Supporting the development and implementation of financial systems and processes
Aligning payroll and reporting to finance requirements
VAT Returns

The ideal candidate will be finalist or Qualified in ACA/ACCA or CIMA. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
