Gleeson Recruitment Group are proud to partner exclusively with a large FMCG business based in north Birmingham who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team at a time of huge growth. The role will have massive exposure across the wider business including business partnering with IT, marketing and the wider business. The role will oversee the management of a large fleet of vehicles, properties and staff - if you are looking for variety then look no further! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insight to support the business in making informed decisions, and for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.

- Develop and maintain financial models to provide insight into product and customer profitability, and identify opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement.
- Analyse and report on actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.
- Work closely with operational teams to develop accurate and robust cost to serve models, including analysis of costs by customer, product, and service type.
- Provide financial support to the business in pricing decisions, contract negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing insight into the drivers of financial performance and trends over time.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information, including monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
- Proven experience in a Management Accounting role, including experience of cost to serve analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience using financial systems.
