The responsibilities of a Management Accountant in Telford include:

Involvement with continuous improvement projects, monitoring and reporting cost savings
Maintenance of costs records relating to Government grants and preparation of Quarterly Monitoring Reports
Key SAP user and point of contact for other SAP users
Development, preparation, review and distribution of monthly management accounts
Development, reporting and distribution of KPI's - financial and operational
Preparation of period, quarter and annual financial packs
Responsible for sales, material, labour and overhead cost budget and forecast preparation
Variance analysis against budget and standard cost
Review and explain costs variances including material usage, purchase price, productivity, etc
Responsible for internal costing process, working with Commercial
Preparation and review of weekly/monthly cash forecasts

The ideal candidate for a Management Accountant will include:

Previous Manufacturing experience is essential
Previous SAP experience is desired
Confident speaker, the role is very face to face.
Eager to learn and progress
Excellent Microsoft skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Team player and promote a team approach to problem solving
Great organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure with short completion times for projects
