Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with this UK wide Insurance business, to recruit a permanent Major Loss Adjuster in the Commercial Property department. The role would be 100% home-based, although local offices will be available. The ideal locations will be in London or the South East.

You will use your technical knowledge and experience to handle a portfolio of commercial major loss claims in excess of £100,000, in compliance with prevailing client requirements and service standards. You will demonstrate a high level of technical quality and service delivery to provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, maintaining an excellent degree of property related claims principles and practices. You will communicate effectively and proactively with all relevant parties by the most effective and expeditious means, prioritising the use of telephone contact, ensuring that claims are proactively managed.

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate an eye for detail, a high level of technical, quality and service delivery, a commitment to innovation and a determination to provide a market leading service.

In order to be considered, you will have proven major loss claims handling experience, with minimum ACILA qualification or significant progress towards fully qualifying. You will be an excellent communicator with sound negotiation and investigation skills with the ability to work both as part of a team and under own initiative. You will work accurately under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines and service standards.

In return, you will receive a negotiable salary on experience, car allowance, contributory pension, death in service and a performance related bonus. The standard working week is 35 hours, Monday to Friday with flexible working remotely from home.
