Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias that is looking for a work life balance? I'm working with a leading Automotive Tier 1 supplier that is looking to expand within their maintenance department. The role will consist of working a double days shift pattern (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm) offering a salary of Circa £40,000. The business offers a state of the art manufacturing facility with plans to invest which will double the capacity of the plant.

This role will suit an individual that is used to working within a fast paced environment. This role will be influential of supporting the production and operations department to ensure maximum machine uptime is achieved. You will respond to reactive breakdowns, while diagnosing root cause, identifying potential replacement parts and increasing the plan preventive across the whole site.

In order to succeed within the role you will be able to demonstrate the following experience along with the relevant qualifications:

  • HNC / HND in Engineering or equivalent
  • Apprentice trained Electrical or Mechanical engineering background - NVQ or City & Guilds
  • Experience of working with electro/mechanical equipment
  • Experience of PLC's software and fault finding - ideally Siemens
