My client, a next day delivery provider, are looking to recruit a Logistics Sales Manager to identify and recruit haulage companies into their network.
The company is a growing general distribution specialist, who have strategic plans for future expansion and are committed to developing the future workforce. You will join a profitable business headquartered in the Midlands, with a clear strategy incorporating operational improvement and commercial restructuring.
The Logistics Sales Manager will be responsible for proactively going out to market and recruiting haulage companies to join their profitable network. You will have previous experience of selling solutions into a 3PL organisation or knowledge of the road transport industry where you can develop long standing relationships.
Your skills & experience will include:
- Demonstrate effective identifying of potential new member companies;
- Previous experience of working with commercial departments promoting company benefits;
- Results-driven, believes in measuring & communicating performance;
- Ability to demonstrate all-round sales & negotiation skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at different levels.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £45,000 max. with a fully expensed company car and a highly competitive benefits package. Within the role there will be the need to travel to different sites as the business dictates…
