I am looking for a driven Logistics Project Manager who can manage all aspects of multiple projects for my client, a specialist distribution business based in Birmingham.
I have an exciting opportunity to join a specialist distribution business as they look to recruit a highly capable Logistics Project Manager to focus on project implementation success and new client onboarding. Based at their facility in Birmingham, the successful candidate will earn a competitive salary up to £50,000, plus car allowance and additional benefits.
The successful candidate will have an autonomous role working closely with the Senior Management Team to shape and own the full project life cycle including full implementation of new clients from initiation to deployment. As a senior team member onsite, you will be tasked with ensuring the highest levels of performance through efficient management of their supply chain operation. You will provide leadership, so all parties meet project goals, making sure they understand fully their responsibilities to new clients and project milestones.
Previous experience of full Project Management within a logistics distribution environment would be crucial, a strong background from within 3PL would be beneficial. To be successful within the role you will need a professional qualification i.e. Prince 2 or equivalent and proven track record of providing on site leadership from cradle to grave. You will need excellent communication skills with a strong personality to motivate across multiple areas to achieve your end objective.
