Do you have extensive Legal PA experience? Looking for a reputable and thriving law firm known for their dedication to providing exceptional legal services to their clients? We are currently seeking a highly organised and efficient Legal Personal Assistant (PA) to join their Birmingham team.
As a Legal PA, you will provide crucial administrative and organisational support to their legal team, enabling them to deliver outstanding legal services. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to the seamless operation of our firm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers and legal professionals in managing their caseloads by maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and organising travel arrangements.
- Prepare legal documents, including contracts, briefs, court filings, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support in case preparation.
- Handle client communications, including phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring documents are organised and easily accessible.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and court proceedings.
- Assist in the preparation and review of billing statements and invoices.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and document formatting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Personal Assistant or Legal Secretary in a law firm or legal department.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Proficient in using legal software and case management systems.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in using productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and proactively, while also being a strong team player.
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
