We are working exclusively with a leading property development company looking to hire their first dedicated legal counsel to take responsibility for all legal matters and oversee a broad mix of work.

Birmingham based (agile working) £60,000 - £65,000+ basic plus benefits - part-time option (4 days) can be considered for the right individual.

The dynamic UK business has quickly built a fantastic national reputation and now part of a leading European investor group, there are ambitious growth plans as they enter the next phase of expansion.

To facilitate that growth they now seek a dedicated legal manager who can work closely with the Board to implement efficiencies, processes, manage risk, provide technical legal advice on property transactions and project manage large scale acquisitions, sales, and finance matters.

There is also the opportunity to provide expertise across more niche property areas if that is your background.

We are very much open on technical background as a large part of the role will be managing the external panel ensuring high standards, value for money and an efficient service.

We are interesting in hearing from private practice lawyers across the leading firms keen to move in-house from the following disciplines. (Those already in-house should also apply)

- Commercial / Residential Development

- Property Litigation

- Real Estate Finance

- Construction

- Planning

It is likely you will have 5+ years PQE, be technically strong, however keen to fully utilise your natural commercial acumen.

Personality and culture fit is hugely important, you must take a pragmatic, commercial approach to providing advice, be a comfortable relationship builder able to influence, becoming a trusted advisor to this entrepreneurial business.

As a growing organisation, you will be surrounded by proactive, enthusiastic colleagues, all looking to make a genuine difference to our local communities.
