Legal Accounts Assistant - Birmingham - Full Time - Permanent - Up to £24k
Gleeson Recruitment Group is currently working alongside a company based in Birmingham City Centre for a Legal Accounts Clerk. This is a great position for a diligent, methodical and inquisitive person.
Working within an innovative and diverse law firm the successful applicant will be welcomed to a firm which takes pride in its work.
The primary purpose of the role is to assist the billing team to provide an accurate billing service for both the business and their clients. As the Legal Accounts Clerk you will be reporting directly to he Billing Team manager ensuring accurate and efficient processing. You will also be required to be hard working, tenacious and inquisitive in the resolution of queries.
- Process the firms bills
- Processing data to relevant platforms
- Communicate with both the finance and fee earning department to resolve and issues
- Working in line with process
- Ensuring compliance with VAT
- Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
The ideal candidate would be from a legal background however, similar backgrounds and experience in E-billing will also be considered.
