Interim role - initially 6 months - start date ASAP
Competitive daily rate £400 - £600 per day dependent on experience
My client is at the start of a major transformation programme that will touch every aspect of the business and create significant change across all disciplines including Finance, IT, HR, Operations Digital and Marketing. They have so far identified over 50 projects that will need to be delivered over the course the transformation and they are still very much at the discovery stage so the scope will continue to grow.
In order get things moving a Business Analyst is required to take a look at the proposed project from a high level to gain a better understanding of the business requirements; what needs to be achieved to deliver; timescale and whether solutions can be bought off the shelf or will they be developed in house. You will then need to present short summaries on the the proposed projects so plans can be put in place to deliver the right projects a the right to fit with the wider transformation programme.
The role will also support the Programme Manager with the recruitment of a small team of BA's further down the line when more detailed specification and requirements gathering will be required as individual projects are initiated and move into design and workshops take place.
Due to the vast range of potential projects in the pipeline the successful candidate will have wide ranging experience across multiple disciplines as projects include digital, finance systems, core infrastructure, vehicle tracking solutions and much more. You will have worked with different methodologies ideally including Prince 2, Agile or Waterfall and will be an excellent communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
To summarise this Lead Business Analyst role is all about gaining a high level overview and understanding of the projects in order to get business case approval and sign off. It will then lead into taking an active role in building a small team of BA's to get into the detail.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with Mark Freyd for further information on the role. I am looking for someone to start as soon as possible but equally if the best candidate is on 4 weeks notice my client will wait.
