I am currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operator, to join a precision engineering business who specialise in the aerospace industry and operate out of Castle Donnington.

My client has earned the accolade of being named as a trusted lifecycle partner across the aerospace industry for their integrated solutions, design and development.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Laser Operator to join an established aerospace business. You will be responsible for setting and operating 5 axis laser cutting machinery whilst carrying our maintenance checks and calibration procedures if required. You will also be required to work with a range of materials including titanium, stainless steel and Nimonic and hold the ability to quality check produced components using inspection equipment such as verniers.
To be considered for the Laser Operator position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Working history of setting and operating Trumpf or Laserdyne machinery
- Able to produce 2D laser programmes using Radan
- Able to edit program G code
- Willing to work a rotating shift pattern
As the successful Laser Operator, you will maintain brilliant housekeeping practises which are in line with the Company 5s standards with an ability to comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures. This role offers a starting salary of £32,556.00 which is inclusive of shift allowance with various overtime opportunities.
