With an enviable list of customers on a truly global basis, the Key Account Manager will be responsible to retain top customers and nurture key relationships, creating strategic and advisory partnerships with clients which identify and develop new opportunities to work together for the mutual benefit of both organisations. The key deliverables around the role will be;
Retaining top customers and growing revenue and margin in line with the objective
Develop a deep understand of target customers needs and requirements so that we can sell more effectively
Build solid, sustaining and trusted relationships with key clients that bring the most revenue for the company
Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client's long-term goals
Enhance the company's reputation and constantly explore opportunities to add value
Responsible for keeping key clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders
Work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
The Key Account Manager will need to be a proven commercial and client focused individual with a strong understanding of the key account management, development and retention process. Knowledge of the Pump, Valve, Compressor or rotating equipment market would be highly advantageous for this role. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to build rapport with key clients and be a natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity. Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs and the ability to nurture and develop relationships is key.
