Do you want to work for one of the Midlands fastest growing and dynamic logistics businesses? I am recruiting a Key Account Manager to manage several high-profile retail customers as part of the strategic development of the business. Based in Wolverhampton you will travel twice weekly to customer sites, earning a competitive salary of approximately £40,000.
We recently placed the hiring manager whose function is to improve the effectiveness of the Key Account team. As part of this she has specified this brand-new role to a lead more strategic approach to critical customer accounts. The business has been described as being in a "Scale-Up" phase and this will have an impact on your role - you will operate with bandwidth, hands on where needed to fix problems but devoting the majority of your time working on longer term customer success.
Your main responsibility is to develop, build and maintain long term profitable business partnerships with existing customers. You will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times and will be expected to operate autonomously to comes up with effective tactics & strategies for each account.
You have experience of working within a well-structured account development environment, preferably within a third-party logistics company, but candidates with experience in other B2B environments demonstrating the right skills & attitude will absolutely be considered.
Based in Wolverhampton you will be paid approximately £40,000 plus competitive benefits including flexible holidays and a pension. There is room for progression and as a highly dynamic and fast-growing organisation, development of talent is high on the agenda.
