IT Technician (Worcester - Hybrid 2+ days in office per week) £23,000-£25,500
Gleeson are working alongside an exponentially growing client based in Worcester who have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Technician to join a great team on a full time basis. The client are open to seeing candidates that are either looking to learn and develop in an IT Technician role in deployment, administration and support with little to fair experience or experienced candidates within desktop infrastructure that can hit the ground running, the Salary will depend on experience.

You will be responsible for:

• Act as an initial point of contact for internal IT related support requests
• Maintain, repair, and testing for internal IT Infrastructure and items required in the field including Desktop PCs and Laptops, Telephones, Peripherals, and Servers as necessary
• Maintain and support network connectivity including switches and patching
• Organise and dispatch hardware and software for system upgrades
• Respond to issues logged to appropriate SLAs and KPIs
• Own logged support requests until resolved or escalated to the appropriate team
• Maintain technical documentation used by Internal Infrastructure
• Repair & testing of hardware

Skills Needed:

• Full driving licence (desired)
• Proven troubleshooting skills
• Basic understanding of PC architecture and networks
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels of the organisation
• Eagerness to undertake new challenges
• Driven, ability to work unsupervised on tasks
• A thorough and responsible attitude towards security
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment
• Methodical and disciplined in approach to project tasks
• Able to deliver to agreed timescales
