Are you an IT Category Manager? Do you have excellent stakeholder engagement skills? If so, this IT Category Manager role could be good for you.
Based in Central Birmingham, you will be pivotal in providing value for money and ensuring that supplier performance is of a high standard. You will provide specialist advice to the wider business and manage the tendering and negotiation of high value contracts.
As IT Category Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders to agree procurement plans and identify opportunities to improve value for money, manage the IT spend to include hardware, software and telco, deliver cost savings, reductions and cost avoidance, build strong relationships and support change initiatives.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- IT Procurement experience
- The ability to plan and lead negotiations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A commercial outlook
In return the successful IT Category Manager will receive a remuneration package that includes a base salary of circa £50,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, flexible working including the possibility of home working where appropriate, pension scheme and other excellent benefits.
