Inventory Lead - £28,000 Basic - Oxfordshire

Can you bring an expertise within Inventory to a food production/distribution environment working within the food sector? They are looking for an individual who can work independently, who is resolute in their approach to work and is determined to be successful.

Working closely with the site Inventory Manager you will join an organisation that has ambitious growth plans within their field supplying primarily within e-commerce. A food producer/distributor of a wide range of products, the business is looking to appoint a new Logistics Inventory Lead who will be tasked with reorganising, re-energising and growing their offering in the market. The Inventory Lead will work and lead a small team of roughly 5 direct reports under them and will receive a more than competitive salary for this level.

This is an inventory and stock focused role and we are looking for someone who has worked in a warehouse/inventory environment for around 12-18 months working with inventory in regard to FMCG or a food based organisation whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer services within budget requirements. You will lead your team and division on a journey of transformation onsite, mentoring the team and developing where required. You should naturally have a highly analytical mind and have developed advanced Excel skills, both required due to the complex nature of the site. With no two days being the same you will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where the plan is critical to meet customer orders, as is working with agility within that plan.
