Are you an administrator with international account experience? Do you want to be an integral part of the Commercial process? If so, I am working with a client based in Birmingham who is seeking an International Sales Support and Operations Co-ordinator, to join their expanding HQ team.

Working closely with various key internal stakeholders, you will be processing international sales and purchase orders and returns efficiently, liaising with suppliers to ensure that the most cost-effective method of supply is achieved. You will be providing clear and concise communication to customers, to regularly update them on their order progress.

Key accountabilities

  • Liaise with customers and suppliers via telephone and written correspondence
  • Produce and send pricing schedules to customers
  • Process sample requests
  • Provide product specific data sheets as requested
  • Provide Cleaning and Maintenance Schedules as required
  • Ensure accurate placement of orders with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Arrange cost effective international transportation of orders from our factory partners in Europe for onward delivery to global project sites
  • Organise Express and container deliveries direct to site
  • Organise UK transportation to site where necessary
  • Acknowledge ongoing status of order to the customer
  • Prepare Sales Order documentation for despatch
  • Update and maintain accurate communication and forecasts on SAP system
  • Continuously monitor all stocks allocated to Live Sales Orders
  • Liaise with Credit Control regarding new accounts, account limits, on hold orders for despatch within Sage
  • Process Sales Returns
  • Offer customers add-on products to increase sales
  • Carry out further tasks as may from time to time be delegated to you by your Team Leader & Manager

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Qualities:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Previous international transportation experience
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels, and to produce effective summaries and reports as required
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and critical attention to detail
  • Evidence of strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Previous use of SAP is desirable but not essential
