Interim Project Financial Controller / Procurement Finance Business Partner

6-12 Months, circa £550 Per day outside IR35 based in the West Midlands with hybrid working

I have an immediate requirement for a candidate to join a large multi-site business to support the team in a project capacity.

Reporting to the Finance Director you will work between Finance and Procurement to assess the impact of inflation across the business.

Initially you will partner with Procurement and relevant stakeholders to review previous years then create a forecast model to incorporate likely inflation across site costs, labour, packaging, logistics, drivers, materials, energy etc. This information will give the procurement team a holistic picture to allow them to move forward with renewed clarity.

The next step will be to partner with procurement to create a robust process whereby they can review the impacts of predicted inflation themselves, then train and embed this. The delivery of which will give finance the confidence that future forecasting is accurate and inclusive of market conditions.

Candidate Profile

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc..)
Strong in Excel
Experience of working with Procurement to identify improvements
Demonstrable Finance Business Partnering skill-set
Demonstrable experience of embedding new processes successfully
Highly analytical
Tenacious
