Interim P2P Implementation Lead - Staffordshire - 15 Months - Circa £75,000 per annum

My blue-chip client has a requirement for an Interim P2P / S2C Implementation Lead to join their business on an fixed term contract for circa 15 months. The P2P / S2C Implementation Lead will be the overall lead for the project, accountable for achieving key milestones of the implementation of both purchase to pay and source to contract modules. Reporting to senior finance, you will work closely with the project team, including Project Managers and Leads across different functions in the business, along with a small, dedicated team which you will take management responsibility for.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall Implementation Lead for the project and delivery of key milestones
  • Lead the project team and play a leadership role in the wider project team
  • Engagement with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring the new system is successful, in terms of technology, processes and cultural change
  • Oversee the project, manage requirements, influence final design and delivery of the solution
  • Set and manage expectations on delivery time-lines, holding colleagues and suppliers to account
  • Lead on engagement with key stakeholders including leadership team
  • Highlight any risks identified, as well as leading on resolving, managing or mitigating these
  • Key point of contact for escalation of project or supplier issues
  • Oversee user acceptance testing, assessment of readiness for go live etc
  • Ensure system implemented meets the agreed requirements and scope, including processes, capability and control and governance requirements
  • Day to day management and coaching of project team

The Candidate:

  • Prince2 qualified
  • Either a chartered accountancy qualification or CIPS procurement qualification
  • Significant experience working with and leading end to end P2P / S2C implementation
  • Strong understanding of both P2P and S2C related processes
  • Demonstrable track record of delivery
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Highly organised
