I am looking for a high performing, Head of Supply Chain who can work in an interim position of between 3-6 months, you will streamline company supply chain processes and navigate their way through Brexit implications. This is a unique role where you will be able to implement some real change within the organisation in a short timeframe.
I have an exciting opportunity to join a global company as they look to recruit a highly capable Head of Supply Chain to focus on improving their supply chain operations on a global basis, the role is an interim position for 3-6 months. It will be based in Birmingham but within the current climate there will also be remote working, the successful candidate will earn a competitive salary, plus benefits and bonus.
The successful candidate will need to be passionate and results driven, you will have an autonomous role working closely with the General Manager to shape the planning and management of supply chain movements by the business. As a senior team member, you will be tasked with ensuring the highest levels of performance through efficient management of their supply chain operation. You will lead your team and make process improvements where applicable, training and mentoring the staff as you push forwards.
The successful candidate can come from any sector background but some of their key responsibilities will be to engage with all internal stakeholders from top to bottom. You will lead your team on a journey as you define what "good" looks like for the business, so driving levels of engagement will be critical to your success.
Previous experience of working within a retail or e-commerce distribution environment would be preferable, you will strive to ensure that all supply chain activities are executed in accordance with service level agreements. The interim Head of Supply Chain is a critical role in defining processes and ensuring adherence throughout the organisation, providing a platform for future development and growth. You will lead the Supply Chain team through effective leadership whilst they are responsible for the day to day operations. This will leave you to be able to focus on critical projects for the business including the challenges of Brexit and shaping the companies processes within that.
