Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit an interim Head of Shared Services for our client based in the Midlands. The interim Head of Shared Services will be required for at least 12 months and ideal candidates will be able to start immediately.

The Company


The successful interim will be working within a shared service that is in full growth mode. The SSC services business units in both the UK and EMEA region.

The Role


The role is a senior management position and will be responsible for service delivery, strategy, planning, financial reporting and internal controls. Key duties will include: -

  • Leading, developing and ensuring that the shared services key value streams (P2P, O2C and R2R) are executed at the highest of standards
  • Financial reporting, managing budget for the SSC
  • Business partnering with multiple sites across the UK
  • Staff development, performance management and employee engagement
  • Leading the projects team to deliver business integration and improvement projects
  • Identifying opportunities to drive operational efficiency's
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders in the UK and Europe


The Candidate


As the successful Interim Head of Shared Services, you will have:

  • Proven leadership skills in a shared service environment
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Ability to business partner with all levels of finance and non finance personal
  • Attention to detail


The Benefits Package

The following benefits package is available to the successful interim Head of Shared Services:

  • The role will initially be for a period of 12 months on an FTC basis. Salary will be circa £80000-£90000pa dependant on experience plus additional benefits
