My client, a leading business advisory specialist requires a Group Head Office Accountant to augment the head office team.

With over 6000 employees and upwards of 160 offices my client prides itself on problem solving and focuses on collaboration and a personal approach. Being private equity backed growth has been rapid and more is planned in 2022.

The Group Head Office Accountant role is a key part of the head office team and has responsibility for the head office reporting, including forecasts and annual budget. Other tasks include cashflow forecasting, cost centre variance analysis, quarterly VAT returns, year end process and auditor point of contact.

There is also the opportunity to improve processes and take a lead role in the continuous improvement initiative.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and have worked in a similar role previously. You will also have strong analytical and excel skills and have an eye for detail. As this is a high profile role you will need to be confident in presenting, have the ability to build relationships and have a curious approach.

Initially this is a temporary backfill role but could also be a temp to perm opportunity for the right individual.
