Interim Financial Controller - West Midlands - Hybrid Working - Circa £700 per day inside IR35

My client is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join their business for 6 months. The role will support through the year end, upskilling the team of circa 18 and delivering process improvement as well as supporting finance transformation projects.

Responsibilities in brief:

• Provide financial control for the group function
• Co-ordination and consolidation of monthly management accounts
• Oversee completion of quarterly reporting, including commentary
• Lead team through the year end process
• Support the SSC with the delivery of robust process control
• Support the management team in driving working improvements
• Team management and development
• Work closely with key stakeholders
• Working Capital management
• Work with the business to drive standardisation, automation and hit key performance indicators

Candidate requirements:

• Chartered accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA etc..)
• A technical finance background
• Exposure to a business over £300MN turnover
• Senior stakeholder management
