My client, an acquisitive, private equity backed sme requires an experienced finance transformation specialist for a process review project.
Specifically this role will be responsible for mapping current processes, identifying inefficiencies and making improvement based recommendations. Also required is a review of their outsourced partner and evaluating future resource requirements.
An example of a typical day would be reviewing and documenting current finance workload and processes, reviewing current use of systems and identifying inefficiencies and gaps in the finance organisation. Part of this process will involve interviewing the current team and mapping their day to day activities. Finally, the role will involve making recommendations for improvements and implementing said improvements with the CFO.
The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional (qualified or QBE) who has a background in process review and improvement and understand what "good" looks like from a finance perspective. You will also need to be a competent communicator and have a good level of EQ.
This is a great opportunity within a rapidly growing sme to be involved in a transformation project.
