Interim Finance Transformation Director - London/International - £1000/£1500 per day outside IR35 - 18 Months

I have an immediate requirement for a candidate to join a blue-chip manufacturing client to lead them through the next phase of their Finance Transformation Programme. You will be joining them at a pivotal time in their transformation journey with an opportunity to add a huge amount of value and drive significant process improvement.

Initially you will make an organisational assessment of their international Finance Shared Services Centre (R2R/O2C/P2P), set up the target operating model and define a clear transformation road-map. You will then build and deliver on this plan.

The leadership team want you to develop the SSC to become a benchmark business service. There is some work to do to improve the reputation of the SSC and deliver a step change in terms of the service that they deliver. There is a requirement for the SSC to be operating a business partner model to help improve the service, perception, internal relationships and delivery across the business and with the businesses clients. As you would expect in this scenario there is a lot of work to do around process improvement and development whilst embedding these processes across all finance pillars.

The candidate

I am looking for a qualified accountant with a background in operational finance who has likely progressed to Director level before embarking on a career in Finance Transformation. You will have demonstrable experience in delivering significant change in the manufacturing/engineering sector particularly improvement of an SSC, citing examples of significant process improvement and the related improvement metrics.

The role will require a candidate to be based in the London office 2 days per week with some travel to continental Europe, beyond that the client runs a hybrid working model.

This role is private and confidential so no additional information will be released until a cv is received, positively vetted and an NDA signed.

We are committed to encouraging and celebrating applicants from different backgrounds, whatever their gender, ethnicity, race, religion, education, socioeconomic background, disability or sexual orientation to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Gleeson Recruitment Limited. Our Privacy Policy is available on our website and explains how we will use your data.
