Interim Finance Project Manager - 6 Months - £500 per day outside IR35 - West Midlands

I have an immediate requirement for an Interim Finance Project Manager to join a PE backed business for an initial period or 6 months. From a high-level perspective, the client needs support in completing a process improvement/process embedding project which has stalled slightly.

Role in Brief:

  • Support the delivery of the Group Transformation Programme of work.
  • Identify, develop and implement new finance processes and drive harmonisation with MS Dynamics.
  • Leading a process to ensure that current and future business requirements are comprehensively mapped.
  • Leading the implementation of the transformation process working closely with the senior finance team.
  • Ensure that any proposed solutions fit for the needs of the finance function.
  • Provide clear expectations and acceptance criteria for the programme.
  • Drive continual improvement and consistency in Global Finance processes.
  • Drive the direction and development of financial data, financial data structure and management information systems.
  • Engage with IT and business teams with a strong focus on customer service and partnering.
  • Responsible for overseeing integration activities related to finance data systems, financial reporting, and management information.

Candidate requirements:

  • Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar.
  • Understanding of best practice finance processes and system solutions.
  • Significant experience driving and delivering large finance Transformation programmes.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple competing priorities utilizing project management skills.
  • Experience within sizeable multidisciplinary and matrix teams.
  • Experience with process improvement (Lean, TQM or other) process digitization, data management and systems implementations
  • Exceptional ability to analyse data and utilize it to make sound business decisions
