My client is an award winning, international B2B enjoying rapid growth. An urgent requirement for an interim Finance Manager has arisen with responsibility for managing, leading and developing a team of 5.
This is a key appointment reporting into the Financial Director based at a prestige location in the Thames Valley.
This role is responsible for the day to day running of the finance function including management accounts preparation, cashflow forecasting and supplier negotiations. Other tasks include managing financial controls and procedures, overseeing the month end process including P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, VAT calculations across various jurisdictions and working with third parties including auditors. This role is also responsible for a team of five who need support and direction, particularly with their day to day tasks.
The successful candidate must be a qualified accountant with significant experience of running an accounts department and producing the financials for an sme business. As this is a hands on role we require an individual who is proficient at producing the numbers and also at developing a team. Finally, you will have excellent communication skills, be able to challenge in an appropriate manner and build rapport and strong internal relationships.
This role will initially be on site and then move to hybrid working. It is within IR35 and we are able to pay the successful candidate either on a fixed term contract or a day rate basis.
