Interim Finance Director - West Midlands/ Hybrid - £650/£750 per day outside IR35

I have a pressing requirement for an Interim Finance Director to join a private equity backed, multi-site, business for a period of three to six months. The role will see the business through a period of significant change.

The initial requirement will be to assess the team's capability, look at roles, responsibilities and structure to allow the FD position to become less in the detail and more focused on value-add activity for the board and investors. That does mean that in the early stages of this role it will require a candidate who is comfortable operating in the detail and has retained their personal technical competence.

The business requires an improvement in terms of financial reporting and management information to allow the board and investors to make real time commercial decision and best drive towards their strategic objectives. The FD will lead the commentary and operate as a true business partner to the board and investors while overseeing the day to day of the financial timetable via a small team

Essentially I am looking for a qualified Finance Director who is available at short notice. You will need to have a multi-site background and ideally experience of growing a Private Equity backed business.
