Are you an experienced Indirect Category Manager available for a 6 month fixed term contract? Do you have extensive experience of indirect categories? Please read on about this central Birmingham, hybrid role.

As Category Manager you will be working within a small team on a range of procurement projects, helping with this organisation's transformation. You will be sourcing and evaluating suppliers, running and overseeing sourcing and selection processes as well as producing and Interpreting supplier data. You will also draft and implement templates and drive costs down to exceed targets whilst mitigating risks

In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

• Indirect procurement experience
• Strong experience of working with data and procurement systems
• Excellent negotiation skills
• A positive and hardworking attitude
• Be immediately available or on a short notice period

In return you will receive a salary of circa £55,000 to £60,000 plus excellent benefits.
