Co-ordinate both roles and create and maintain a pleasant work environment ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safety.

OVERVIEW:
To provide all round HR duties to Montel Civil Engineering and to fulfil the duties of an Office Manager.
Co-ordinate both roles and create and maintain a pleasant work environment ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safety.

CORE DUTIES:
* Assist with all aspects of recruitment i.e. staffing requirements, job descriptions, agencies, interviews, selection, offers etc.
* Ensure all offers/contracts/handbooks etc are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Originate and lead organisational strategies in Human Resources with senior team.
* Implement learning and development framework in partnership with senior team.
* New Employee Inductions and on-boarding.
* Ensure employee relations are kept at level of high satisfaction.
* All aspects of coaching, performance management and succession planning are done in conjunction with senior team and via regular appraisals.
* Coordinate and action PDR's/Appraisals with senior team.
* Employee Records to be maintained ensuring all training both legislative and personal is carried out.
* Maintain HR Database - Driving License checks, Medical disclosures.
* Highlight and help deal with disciplinaries & other procedures and help resolve any issues/challenges/employee relations within the office/site and assist with advice to company managers on HR policy, practice and procedure.
* Inviting Employees to the Post Probation Offers i.e. Private Medical Insurance, Pensions, Life Insurance, Cash Plans.
* Liaison with payroll.
* Policy development in HR.
* Company Announcements using the Intranet - New Staff, promotions, newsletters etc.
* Attend Senior Team Leader Meetings.
* Keep training records and matrix up to date.
* Oversee Trainees in the business - College Attendance etc and keep a close check on themselves and their development.
* Imbed/Promote commitment culture - Team Building - Internal & External Days.
* Dealing with Apprenticeship & CITB Levy's.

RESPONSIBILITES & MAIN DUTIES FOR OFFICE MANAGER:
* Manage mail and receptionist and greet visitors.
* Company Functions, Christmas Party, Roadshows.
* Building/Office Maintenance - Cleaners, Repairs, Renewals, stationary orders.
* Office Equipment - Dealing with and sourcing.
* Liaise with IT consultant in ordering/issuing of Laptops/IT Equipment.
* Office Telephones/Mobile Phones - Issuing/ordering/updating numbers.
* Company Vehicle Insurance, Accidents/Claims, Plant & Vehicle Database.
* Car Allowance staff - Keeping the records up to date of staff who have a car allowance, Insurance, MOT etc.
* Attend meetings as needed and make sure actions are closed.
* Ensure staff needs are met and any relevant work assessments are done.
* Make sure office security is monitored, serviced and maintained.
* Maintain supplies within office.
* Keep meeting ready and clean and booking system.
* Dealing with the Providers of the Benefits of the above
