Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of human resource services, providing advice, guidance and administration support to key stakeholders and the HR team.
With previous experience in planning and delivering training, you will also be responsible for designing workshops aimed at developing Line Managers in HR best practice and procedure as well as reviewing and improving the learning and development offering for the business.
A versatile approach is essential as the role will cover a broad range of HR functions, including administrative responsibilities. If you are seeking a generalist HR position with the potential to own and develop the learning and development area of accountability, then this could be the role for you.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Supporting managers in interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures

  • Planning and delivering in house workshops / training on HR best practice and procedures

  • Providing first line advice and guidance across ER issues including discipline, grievance, capability/performance management and absence

  • Identifying improvements to existing policies, processes and procedures

  • Supporting the HR department with administration assistance including restructures/redundancy, change in terms and conditions, meeting minutes, booking external training courses etc.

  • Escalating complex, risky or sensitive cases to appropriate HR colleagues

  • Management of the performance appraisal system, identifying improvements and suggesting change

  • Assisting with the management of the induction process; reviewing effectiveness and making changes to improve the employee on boarding experience

  • Managing absence and the return to work process

  • Assisting with the management of the reward and benefits offering for all employees.
