My client, a global Manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Birmingham are looking to add an addition to the HR team. They are seeking an experienced HR Advisor who has experience of working in a generalist role.
The successful HR Advisor will be exposed to a professional and supportive working environment. They are looking for like-minded people who are passionate about service and who are experts in their field, to join them on their ongoing journey to success. Ideally you will have experience of ER casework ranging from investigations through to dismissal. Union experience is highly desirable at this stage but not essential. You will still enjoy and operate the transactional side of HR such as the full employee life cycle.
You will operate within a structured HR team, reporting directly to the HR Manager, and will be responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive HR service. The ideal candidate will be experienced in picking up systems quickly, able to work effectively at pace and be organised with great attention to detail.
The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing a proactive HR Generalist service at the site on HR/L&D related matters, this will include:
- Employee relations and communications
- Disciplinary and Grievance (up to and including dismissal stage)
- Attendance and Absence Management.
- Performance Management and Development
- Human Capital Planning
- Employee Engagement & compliance.
