My client, a global leader within the manufacturing industry, are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team based in Willenhall. The business is looking for like minded people to join them and be part of a dynamic and agile working environment with the focus on achieving common goals.

As the successful HR Advisor you will report into the Senior HR Business Partners and provide a generalist HR service to the business. You will also be involved with the recruitment and training of all new employees into the business and will support with ER case work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the management of employee relations queries
  • Providing advice to managers on policies and procedures
  • Working closely with the hiring managers to ensure that all aspects of recruitment and selection are progressed and completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Proactively assisting managers in managing absence in line with company policy
  • Providing advice to employees and managers on general HR issues
  • Conducting investigations, disciplinary hearings and grievances
  • Advising and supporting managers throughout informal and formal procedures including disciplinary, grievance, capability, redundancy and TUPE
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support with all areas of training and development across the business

Key Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Previous experience at a HR Advisor level
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification (desirable)
  • Coaching/providing feedback
  • Communication - clear and concise written and verbal
  • Recruitment/interview skills
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry would be beneficial
  • Experience of using HR databases
  • Experience of advising on employment law, policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • In depth knowledge of employee relations processes and procedures
  • Ability to be proactive and to use initiative is essential
