Are you recently qualified as a Health & Safety professional, looking for an opportunity to join a leading international organisation working amongst a team of experience Health, Safety and Environment professionals? Are you highly organisation and great with IT, looking to start your career as a Health, Safety & Environment professional? If your answer is "Yes" then this is the opportunity for you.
We are working with a leading worldwide organisation within the freight and logistic arena to help them find a Health & Safety Coordinator for what will be an initial 6 month fixed-term contract. It is highly likely that this will go on longer but at this stage this will be the duration of the role.
As Health & Safety Coordinator you will provide support to the national Health & Safety team, to ensure all Health, Safety & Environment reporting is managed & maintained in order to improve their reporting and data analysis across UK business. You will assist in the day-to-day management, upkeep and effectiveness of the UK safety management systems policies and procedures, maintaining document control to enable effective communication and execution of Occupational Health & Safety, Security & Environment performance.
As the successful Health & Safety Coordinator you will have start to pursue a career as a Health & Safety professional and have a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum. You will be able to demonstrate that you are committed, organised, astute and a good communicator able to work as part of a remote based national team. You can be based from our clients' office in Birmingham but also have the opportunity to work remotely. On offer to the successful candidate is a pro-rata salary of £25,000 and an immediate start is available.
