We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our client's team as the Head of Strategic Relationship Management. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing your strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, driving business growth, and ensuring the long-term success of business relationships.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic relationship management plan aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead the wider account management team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive excellence in relationship management practices.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key clients, and industry influencers to expand the company's market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Nurture and maintain existing strategic relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to leverage strategic relationships and maximise business growth potential.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential partnerships, and industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic relationships, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes that may impact strategic relationships.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, opportunities, and challenges related to strategic relationship management.
- Proven experience in strategic relationship management, partnership development, or business development, across both public and private sectors, a distinct advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and nurturing strategic relationships to achieve business objectives.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant business tools.
- Ability to travel as business requires.
