Head of Operations - Financial Services
As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all operational aspects of the customer services and financial services division. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operations, implementing efficient processes, and delivering exceptional client experiences. With your expertise in financial services and your strong leadership skills, you will guide a talented team and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive operational effectiveness, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve productivity across all operational functions.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and enforce operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance service quality, reduce costs, and increase overall operational effectiveness.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, compliance, and technology, to drive integration and alignment of operational processes and systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, and proactively assess their impact on our operations, making appropriate recommendations and adjustments as necessary.
- Proven experience in financial services customer operations, with a strong understanding of customer service operational excellence or related areas.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of operational processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and develop effective solutions; you will be supporting the integration project of MI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and risk management.
