My client, an exciting, high-growth, online, retail business based in the West Midlands, is looking to recruit a Head of Ecommerce.

A market leader in their field, my client operations both in the UK and internationally. A strong brand in health, well-being and beauty space - they are an on exciting growth journey.

The Head of Ecommerce will have responsibility for optimising sales, key conversion metrics and the day to day running of our D2C platform. The role requires ownership of revenue targets and the build of growth plans alongside visually developing the front end website to reflect the brand proposition. The role will own the optimisation of our shopify store and GA reporting to track targets and performance always with a strong focus on UX, conversion and a mobile-first outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own online sales growth plan, setting and tracking progress against targets. Set up sales promotional calender and build monthly/seasonal event calender with marketing team
  • Analytics: Report on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis from GA and Shopify with commentary driving out definitive actions for optimisation.
  • Execute the brand strategy across the web platform to enable brand and product discovery journey vs pure commerce
  • Day to day website management and site operations alongside internal systems teams
  • Managing site evolution and a range of digital products (with technical support)

The ideal candidate for this Head of Ecommerce role will possess the following skills/expertise:

  • Strong trading experience whilst appreciating the importance of a customer-centric approach
  • A good understanding of digital marketing/acquisition
  • A balance between strategic vision and tactical input
  • Subscriptions experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing digital products
  • A can do, positive attitude
  • Finger on the pulse when it comes to new digital innovations

Highly competitive package

Hybrid working pattern. Two days per week in the office, therefore candidates from outside the Midlands are encouraged to apply.
