Head of Business Change - Continuous improvement

£60K + 20% bonus + car + pension + 25 days holiday

Based in North Birmingham my client is a large multi site professional services business that turns over more than £300M annually. The business has seen year on year growth and although it is the size and scale of a large corporation, it is privately owned and feels and operates like a fast paced SME.

Due to the continued success of the business they are now looking to recruit a Head of Business Change to work in the senior management team and deliver a wide variety of projects ranging from the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system to operational change at branch level; head office business process and system improvement projects; strategic customer improvement projects and much more.

Having grown organically over the years from a small independent business to a large scale company with over 100 offices, this is a really exciting and new role for the business. The successful candidate will have a strong personality and be able to work confidently with senior stakeholders and be able to influence across all levels of the business. Day to day you will be working with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Marketing, IT, Branch Managers and the MD.

Day to day you will be working with the business to identify future projects and programmes that will offer strategic improvement and improved customer delivery so it is essential that the successful individual will be commercially astute. You will have a proven track record of delivering successful change projects and ideally will have worked in a multi site business.

You will be a Prince 2 practitioner and although the business does not want someone to come in and stick to every page of the handbook, it is important to put some strong governance in place that will allow these projects and programmes to get delivered on time and make sure that key stakeholders are accountable.
