We are working with a market leading, forward-thinking organisation that operates primarily within the healthcare/ medical sector with sites across the UK. For our client, quality and patient care is at the heart of everything they do. Based from Solihull our client is now looking to take on a high calibre Group HSE Manager.
The overriding aim of this Group HSE Manager role is to support each practice within the Group in developing an integrated and consistent approach to all HSE Management systems, in line with the Company's business objectives. Working closely with the HR, Facilities an Operations teams, the Group HSE Manager will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Health, Safety & Environment Systems and Champion a positive and effective culture within the Group.
As the successful candidate you will have experience leading and influencing change across a multi-site organisation, ideally within the medical or healthcare sectors but other sectors will also be considered such as retail. You will be able to demonstrate successful implementation and strategic planning of health & safety training, welfare for all employees and improved business KPIs as a result of effective HSE Management delivery. You will ensure each practice adopts ISO 45001's Plan/Do/Check/Act management approach to Health and Safety and undertake training needs analysis and delivery for new acquisitions and developments. You will manage HS&E for all Group sites whilst mitigating risk and promoting best practice processes.
Our client is ideally looking for candidates to be Chartered Members of IOSH but will consider those who are on route to achieving this (GradIOSH). You will be qualified to Diploma level or greater with significant experience and superior skills covering communication, analysis, interpretation of data and time management.
