We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to join on a 3 year FTC (with view to go perm).
This opportunity would be fantastic for a passionate and experience Fundraising specialist to join the charity sector at a very exciting time.
This charity is all about looking for "outside the box" fundraising and communications activity and are working to be a progressive fundraising team. You will have full autonomy over your work and will be making a difference every day.

Salary: £30,000 - £37,500
Contract: Full time, 3 year FTC with view to go perm - hybrid 2 days in office
Start date: August/September 2022
The role:
To lead the fundraising team in planning and implementing fundraising activity that will in turn increase awareness of the charity and revenue options.
Key requirements:
- Lead the Fundraising team
- Work across a variety of areas such as grants, trusts, events, virtual fundraising, community and more
- Working with the Director and Communications and Fundraising to develop and implement all fundraising activities
- Represent the charity at events
- Ensure targets are being met in line with strategy
- Use and update the database effectively
- Report on success through data and analytics
- Utilise and ensure the use of online fundraising tools
- Work on the development of the fundraising budget
- Plan and implement fundraising activities
- Be creative and think outside the box with new fundraising activities
- Maximise the generation of funds
- Ensure the team feel supported
- Guarantee that work produced from the team is accurate and of a high standard
- Ensure the wider business is aware of the current and future fundraising objectives and plans
- Work to improve supporter engagement and retention
- Ensure return for money on fundraising plans are in line with the budget and successful
- Work with the team of organise a schedule of events
- Work with teams to develop promotional materials for events
Candidate criteria:
- Previous experience with line management
- Great leadership skills
- Communication and presentation skills
- Able to communicate and influence the public to encourage donations
- Very creative and progressive with ideas for fundraising
- Excellent copy writing kills
- Experience and ability to translate data to measure success or areas for improvement
- Time management experience
- Experience within a similar role or with very transferable skills
- Knowledge of a fundraising job or being able to access multiple income streams such as corporate, virtual, events and community
- Media experience
- Experience working with volunteers
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
